Position Summary:
This position is a combination of responsibilities as a Customer Service Representative and an Inside Sales Agent. In this role you will be performing the duties of a Customer Service Representative during specified heavy call volume hours as well as serving as Sales Agents during key hours when sales are most opportune.
As a Customer Service Representative you will work with the members to address all of their concerns in a comprehensive and expedient manner. You must be able to multi-task during calls by building a relationship with the member, navigating computer systems to find their information, and determining their needs simultaneously. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on quality and attaining all required performance metrics.
As an Inside Sales Agent is responsible for growing the business through the telephonic sale of the organizations products and services to existing Family Security Plan eligible members.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Inside Sales Agent
§ Achieve/Exceed monthly sales and retention objectives as determined by the Focus Plan.
§ Handle all telephone inquires from members interested in FSP products and completes the annual review process.
§ Qualify and close prospective members and recommend appropriate solutions for their insurance needs.
§ Use knowledge of Question Based Selling to accurately assess the distinct needs of different members. Ability to explain the differences between our products and assist the member in selecting one that best suits their needs.
§ Call and follow up on exiting members through the appointment process and up sell opportunities. Meet monthly sales goals as determined by the Appointment Plan.
§ Accurately and thoroughly complete and submit insurance applications and documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
§ Enter all sales and lead follow up appointments and ongoing documentation in the designated system.
§ Exceptional listening and questioning ability
§ Computer and telephone system application skills
§ Ability to continuously learn new information and effectively apply that information on the job.
Customer Service Representative
· Efficiently manage incoming calls to meet all of the customer’s needs using company phone and computer systems;
· Complete all designated paperwork accurately and within required timeframes;
· Communicate regularly with the team and all levels of management regarding customer concerns;
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, carriers and credit unions.
· Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
B.A./B.S. Degree or the equivalent in related experience;
Current Life and Health Producer License Preferred
Previous Sales Experience Preferred
Ability to Work Flexible Hours
Previous Experience / Skills: Customer Service – Call Center Experience
